Life and gaming update...

I've been having a ton of issues with the game–cuz it's sims 4–so I haven't been able to properly continue other projects like my Simlish Tales series because mods don't work longer than 1 week and I'm at uni, so I don't have time to constantly update all my mods 😒.

Also my reshade isn't working anymore, and I have no idea why...

So, I'll be finishing the current holiday event, along with 1 or 2 more streams in the Every Occult Challenge, and then I'll focus on sims 2 and 3 and the series that have been on hiatus for forever. I recently found and repaired my sims castaway save file, so i'll get back to it shortly, and I have a few more episodes of the Homeless rockstar challenge that needs to be edited and posted before I record more of it. 

I have a bunch of things I had started recording, but ended up having issues/bugs with (sims 4... 😤) so I'll see if I can find a way to post some of the footage as part of other things or as a compilation of what could've been or wtv.

I tried to play my sims 3 game on my Mac, and it was working great, except for a few enormously annoying glitches: the eyelashes, the sculpting station and red flashing screen... sooo.. i'll try to implement some of lazy duchess's fixes to make the game run smoother on my PC (the game is 64bit on Mac and the loading and lots of aspects ran very nice and smooth on my Mac so i'm VERY upset about these glitches...) 

For sims 2... I reinstalled the game, and I have to essentially recreate my megahood and apply all the modern fixes for it etc to make it playable and fit modern screens etc etc etc.. and rebuild my default replace library etc etc....

So it won't be quick work, but I'm hoping to get them all working by this summer.

In the meantime, I'll stick to Sims 4 events (with a mostly vanilla game) and sims castaway.

Here's what I'm planning for each generation of my Mega Challenge Legacy... or WTV I'll end up calling it... I'll also use this page to keep track of each challenge and it's goals in a more clear-cut way 😊!

Gen 1: Homeless Challenge. (Bridgeport)

• ⬜ Become a Rock Star

• ⬜ Get out of homelessness  

• (Save enough money to rent an apt, initial cost + 2 weeks worth)

• ⬜ Become a 5 star celebrity

• ⬜ Have at least 1 offspring with the following traits: 

• Charismatic, Dramatic, Star Quality, Rebellious

Gen 2: Famous Films Challenge. (Bridgeport)

Your father started out a young man in the streets of Bridgeport, playing guitar in the parks and eating whatever scraps he could find. But now he's the most famous rock-star in the country. This opened a lot of doors for you. You're the daughter/son of the great rock legend, Leiv!

• ⬜  Become a Superstar Actor

• ⬜ Go to Uni & get a Fine Arts Degree

• ⬜ Become a 5 star celebrity

Gen 3: (not so) Starving Artist Challenge (Bridgeport)

Your parents had the fame handed to them. You get to enjoy the money. You've always had the best education money could buy, and it continues through university. Which is fortunate because your true calling is art. You want to live and breathe art, everyday for the rest of your life. It has to be all about art, all the time, everything. No job, no distractions, just creativity!

You went to university just like your parents, but you just can't work for "the man". You found some cool artsy friends in university and decided to get a nice artsy apartment together and to live "La Boheme". Since your parents barely even got to know you all your life, they probably won't miss you much.
