Midnight Sun 1.0

1.0

Pasha: Where am I?
Jarod: Your boat sank, this is the closest islands I could find.

Pasha: You’re a merman!
 Jarod: Yep...
Pasha: Wait, these islands aren’t inhabited ... but, where did all this stuff come from? Do boats come here often? How will I get home?

Jarod: Look, I saved you, but this is already far from home for me. The current bring plenty of debris from shipwrecks and you already have enough to build yourself a little camp. These island have plenty of fruits and fish, so I’m sure you’ll be fine.
Pasha: So you’re just going to leave me here? Alone? Forever?
Jarod: Maybe you should’ve stayed on land, where your kind belongs.

Jarod: Maybe I should at least help her set up camp?

And so, Jarod climbed on land, his fish tail splitting into two legs, and he helped Pasha getting materials from the washed up pile of debris.

After many hours of hard work, they had made a very basic shelter a workstation and a little “outhouse“. Pasha had dragged a few trunks to the shore and even found a tent, which she laid out to dry.

Pasha: Wow! We’ve been at it for hours, and the sun has barely gone down.
Jarod: Yeah, the days are very long in this region.

Jarod explained a few things about the surrounding islands and the spot where Pasha could find a lot of fish and even go diving for better fish.

Pasha: Thank you so much for your help. Please, will you at least visit me once in a while?
 Jarod: Alright...

Over the next few days, Pasha explores the island around her. Aside from the loneliness, the island is beautiful and full of life.

With the abundance of fishes and edible plants, Pasha knows she won’t go hungry, and with Jarod showing her how to get drinkable water, thirst wasn’t going to kill her either.

Loneliness might though. It had only been 3 days and she was desperate for someone or something to talk to. She had tried catching a bird without much success.

 Jarod: ... Hello?
